Cruisin’ the Coast 2025: Chrome, Classics, and a Whole Lot of Gulf Coast Vibes

Each fall, Cruisin’ the Coast brings thousands of classic cars, hot rods, and exotic rides to the Mississippi Gulf Coast — and this year I was there behind the lens capturing the action in Ocean Springs and Biloxi. From nostalgic Grand Nationals to high-end Ferraris, the event delivered a mix of small-town charm, Gulf Coast energy, and automotive passion that makes it one of my favorite shoots of the year.

Every October, the Mississippi Gulf Coast transforms into a rolling museum of chrome and horsepower — and this year’s Cruisin’ the Coast was no exception. Ocean Springs was buzzing all weekend, from the rumble of engines to the laughter echoing down Government Street. I had the chance to photograph the Ocean Springs stretch of the event, capturing everything from immaculate restorations to wild custom builds — each car telling its own story, parked under those big live oaks with the Gulf breeze cutting through the heat.

But that wasn’t all. Between shoots downtown, I made my way over to Bayside Luxury Garages in Biloxi for not one, but two incredible car shows that couldn’t have been more different. The first was a Monte Carlo and Grand National meet-up— pure nostalgia on wheels. It felt like stepping into a Kendrick Lamar video: candy paint, bass-heavy soundtracks, and a whole lot of pride in every detail.

The next event at Bayview was on the opposite end of the spectrum — an exotic car showcase featuring Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches gleaming in the sun. It was great catching up with my buddy Raj, who brought out his Ferrari FF and Porsche GT3 RS — two absolute beasts that always turn heads (and make my camera happy).

To wrap up the weekend, I had the pleasure of doing a private shoot with Mr. Giles and his wife, featuring their beautifully restored International Scout. There’s something timeless about those rugged lines and vintage vibes, especially when you pair them with a couple who clearly loves their ride. View the pics below or check out the full gallery. Cruisin’ the Coast is one of those events that reminds you why car culture thrives here — it’s not just about the machines, it’s about the stories, the people, and the way it all connects generations. Can’t wait to do it all again next year.
